Available spring semester 2010, the Interdisciplinary Social Sciences bachelors program will focus on diverse cultures of the world recognizing that globalization and rapid advances in information technology makes the world interconnected. The program will explore social, political, ethical and economic issues of world cultures allowing linkages between theory and practice and new understandings of the larger trends and issues that affect societies. The program will provide a basis to engage the world with an appreciation of diverse culture and the ability to communicate directly with local foreign populations. Along with a foundation of a strong core curriculum, students can integrate personal interests by selecting from a broad range of courses. More information coming soon.
