The University of West Florida Libraries offer UWF distance learners an array of library services, including access to the library catalog and numerous online databases. Many databases include full-text journal articles or information. To access library services and databases, you must:

1. Be a currently enrolled UWF student or a currently employed staff or faculty member, and
   
   
2. Have either a UWF Nautilus Card or a Library Access Number assigned, upon request, by the UWF Circulation Department.

Services Available

Services available to the remote user include:

• On-site borrowing at:
  • The University of West Florida
  • Any of the other nine State University System (SUS) Libraries (Nautilus Card required)
  • The libraries of the public Florida Community Colleges (Nautilus Card required)
• Remote access to online electronic resources
• Remote access to the UWF Electronic Library (ELi) pages
• Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery Services (for items not owned by UWF) *
• Intercampus Loan for Books/Journal articles (for items owned by UWF) *
• Remote access to selected library services:
  • Book renewal
  • Rush cataloging of books needed right away
  • Asking that the library recall items currently on loan to others for immediate use
• Reference assistance
