Sweet & Sour Meatballs Categories: meats/main dish 1 pound hamburger 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs 1/4 cup milk 2 tablespoon onion; finely chopped 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon worchestershire sauce 1 each egg 1/2 cup brown sugar; packed 2 tablespoon cornstarch 1 can pineapple chunks 1/3 cup vinegar 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 small green pepper; chopped MEATBALLS Mix ingredients for meatballs (hamburger, crumbs, milk, onion, salt, W. sauce and egg) and shape into twenty 1 1/2 inch balls (about the size of a walnut). Cook in greased oblong pan (9 x 13) about 20 minutes in 400°F oven. Let cool slightly before loosening from bottom of pan. SAUCE Mix brown sugar and cornstarch in skillet. Stir in pineapple (with syrup), vinegar and soy sauce. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; reduce heat. Add meatballs. Cover; simmer, stirring occasioinally for 10 minutes. Stir in green pepper.
