The Department of Justice Studies has many scholarship opportunities for its students. Scholarship amount and availability vary by semester. Email notifications are sent to enrolled students when scholarships become available. For more information about Justice Studies scholarships, contact Ms. Rosa Jones at rjones@uwf.edu. Mabie Scholarship
The Mabie scholarship is offered to graduate or undergraduate students to travel to make teaching or research presentations at professional conferences. Students interested in applying for the scholarship must complete the Mabie Scholarship Application form, and a typed, double spaced summary to include the following material:
- Provide an abstract of approximately 250 words describing the project that will be presented at the conference.
- Provide a summary of the importance of your project in terms of its contribution to teaching, research, or service to your profession.
- If co-presenting, describe your individual contribution toward the presentation.
- A budget that details a) the total anticipated travel costs, b) costs funded from other sources, and c) the travel award amount requested.
