Scholarship programs are available for study abroad. 

• www.iie.org/gilman:  The Benjamin Gilman scholarships are available to students who are receiving Pell grants.  They are good for study abroad to any location. 
• www.iie.org/programs/freeman-asia:  The Freeman-Asia scholarships support study in Asia, and are available to students who are receiving financial aid of any kind or can verify need.
• www.colorado.edu/ealc/atj/Bridging/scholarships/html:  The US-Japan Bridging Foundation awards scholarships to assist students with travel and living expenses while studying abroad in Japan. Awards are for undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
• www.phikappaphi.org: The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi awards Study Abroad Grants designed to help support undergraduates as they seek knowledge and experience in their academic fields by studying abroad. Thirty-eight $1,000 grants are awarded each year.
• StudyAbroadFunding.org is a comprehensive directory of study abroad scholarships, fellowships, and grants to find funding for study outside the US at an undergraduate, graduate, or professional level of study.
