NETWORK FILE SHARING:
Employees are encouraged to create a shared office folder when sharing files with each other. The ITS Help Desk can help workgroups and departments establish shared file areas.
Sharing files instead of sending them as email attachments is more secure and has other advantages:

NETWORK MONITORING:
Loss of University information is most often the result of employee oversight or deficiencies in data business processes. As part of proactively safeguarding against these losses and providing a secure and robust University network, the University routinely monitors and scans network activity and network devices. System administrators have the right to access user processes and/or files in order to maintain proper operation of systems and/or to investigate illegal or inappropriate use of computing resources. All these activities are conducted in a private and confidential manner.
