Jay Massey is a Fort Walton Beach native who has lived and worked around the United States and Europe. He is the managing principal at Coco Design Associates, Inc. and was previously a PC systems consultant for Invesco Funds Group in Denver, Colorado. His diverse experiences also include working for United Parcel Service, founding Video Express, and working in radio.

Coco Design Associates, Inc. (Coco) is a internet software development firm specializing in venture technology and internet marketing. Established in 1994, Coco's expertise grew out of a passion for new media design toward a focus on browser-based information technology development. Coco provides online application development and internet marketing to business and non-profit clients around the country.

Along with his duties at Coco, Jay frequently speaks to area businesses and professional associations on e-commerce and internet marketing. He is the president of the Pensacola Bay Area Advertising Federation and also serves on several business development and charitable boards including: Pensacola Entrepreneurial Development Council, High Growth Business Club Advisory Board, Pensacola Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council, Downtown Improvement Board, Appetite for Life; and served as executive director for Slowlane.com, an online resource, reference and network for stay-at-home fathers from 1997-2007.

Jay established the Coco Cares grant program in 2007 in an effort to enhance emerging business development in and around the Pensacola area. These grants support selected nascent entrepreneurs in the Northwest Florida area that are in need of internet marketing support yet do not have the means to afford a professional web development agency. His non-professional endeavors include watching his son play baseball, climbing, juggling, scuba diving, skiing and mountain biking.
