The Housing and Residence Life staff is ready to assist you in making your new home a positive environment supporting of your academic pursuits. Full-time, professionally trained staff live on campus and supervise the housing communities. Resident Assistants (RAs) live with the residents. These student staff members are recruited and trained to provide assistance to residents and maintain a community contributing to positive academic and personal development.
University Police are sworn State-of-Florida law enforcement officers. They patrol the campus 24/7 by foot and patrol car. Trained staff (Resident Assistants, graduate Hall Directors, and professional Residence Life Coordinators) are located in each residential area to help with concerns or issues that arise. A student safety escort service is available upon request. Each residence hall or apartment entrance is locked and accessible only to resident students.
Within 10 minutes you can walk right to your classroom, the cafeteria, library, computer lab, gym, weight room, health center, post office, bookstore, theatre, or tennis court. You're close to stores, malls, and restaurants and about 12 minutes from downtown Pensacola. And you're only 15 minutes from the famous beaches of Pensacola!

Your RAs develop exciting programs and multicultural theme weeks for University Housing residents. When live performances, music, movies, comedians, games, sports, and other activities such as Casino Night, Fall Frenzy, and Homecoming occur, you'll be in the middle of it all.
