Job Title:

Student Assistant

Purpose:

The SA is responsible for assisting with all Area Office related functions in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner that maintains high standards of service and hospitality.

Reports To:

The SA is supervised directly by the Hall Director (HD) and the Lead Resident Assistant (LRA) and, indirectly, by other professional staff within the Department of Housing and Residence Life.

Qualifications:

• Must be a full time student at UWF (12 Hours)
• Minimum GPA of 2.5
• Positive standing with UWF and Housing (no judicial or financial actions)
• Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Overall Requirements:

• A willingness to work daytime, evening, and weekend hours as scheduled, plus hours during holidays and between academic terms.
• Background and experience in customer service and solid communication and administrative skills required
• A respect for, and appreciation of, the diversity of the University Housing population.

Salary:

$6.79/Hour or current Florida Minimum Wage
