Through service projects from the Honors Program, we got the sense of giving back to the community and wear those awesome orange vests!
- Mai Naito, 2008
The Service Committee is comprised of students on Honors Council whose priority is helping to make the campus, Pensacola community, and world a better place to be. By participating in events such as campus clean-ups, Adopt-a-Highway, beach clean-ups, Ronald McDonald House shifts, canned food drives, Relay for Life, Habitat for Humanity and the March of Dimes, Honors Council students are making a big difference in the lives of thousands of people in all walks of life.
Anyone can help volunteer at an Honors Service event. For more information on upcoming events, see the calendar, come to the next Honors Council meeting (six o'clock on Thursday nights in the Nautilus Chamber!), or contact our Service Chair, Chelsea Pitvorec.
