When I was going through the hardest time of my life, the Honors Program was there for me. Being involved gave me something to look forward to and gave me people to count on. It just shows that the Honors Program is more than just academics. It is an amazing support system no matter where you are at in your life or what you are going through.
UWF's Honors program is one of the best in the nation for a reason. The quality education and high standards truly make a difference in both continuing your education and in the real world. Everything from the Great Books course my freshman year to the completion of my thesis, I am thankful for the skills that I learned in preparation for the next level. The Honors program truly prepared me for my life after graduation. Through the classes, seminars, thesis work, and high level of academics, I have been able to take graduate school in stride. The support system I had in Honors made me a more confident person inside and outside of the classroom. Most importantly, Honors showed me that life is more than just academics and work. The people you meet and the time you have with them are just as fulfilling and meaningful as what is learned in class. The Honors Program made my college experience truly unforgetable.
