Once you've become a member of the University Honors Program, there are some things you will need to know...
Probation & Termination
All students in the University Honors Program must maintain a 3.25 G.P.A. Failure to meet this requirement will result in being placed on probation in the Honors Program for one term. If an Honors student fails to achieve a 3.25 G.P.A. for two consecutive terms, the student will become academically ineligible to be a member of the Honors Program.
Reinstatement
Students who have become academically ineligible can apply for reinstatement to the University Honors Program once their G.P.A. exceeds 3.25 by submitting a petition for reinstatement to the Honors Director. This petition must include a new application and a letter of recommendation from a faculty member.
