Athletic Training Professional Degree Admission Policies
Prospective athletic training students must first be accepted to The University of West Florida (UWF) before applying and receiving any Athletic Training application materials.
Upon verification of acceptance to UWF, the prospective athletic training student can contact the Director of Athletic Training Professional Degree to obtain official application documents.

Acceptance in the Athletic Training Professional Degree Program will be determined using the following criteria with the maximum point value of each listed:
1. Successful completion of all required documents- 20 points
2. Overall GPA and Academic performance-50 points
Academic performance will be based on grades in the following courses:
BSC 1085/L, PET 2604, PET 2622 (and other Athletic Training major course completed, if any).
3. Pre-Admission Observation Hours Evaluation Form - 20 points
4. Professional Interview with ATPD Program Admission Committee- 10 points
