Description:  Development of the Hospitality, Recreation, and Resort Management B.S. degree program in the Division of Health, Leisure, and Exercise Science.  Undergraduate advising of students in this specialization.  Instructional responsibilities include the courses of Travel and Tourism, Programming for Leisure, Outdoor Leisure, Leisure and Society, Research Procedures, and Research Seminar.  Master student advisement and thesis direction.  Research interest and publication focused on African-American leisure, minority issues, travel and tourism, and the social psychology of leisure. Service in Departmental Committees. Membership in several professional organizations at State and National levels.  Consultant to local and regional public and private agencies/organizations.
