Welcome to the Department of Health, Leisure, and Exercise Science Welcome to the University of West Florida and the Department of Health, Leisure, and Exercise Science (HLES). The University of West Florida is a public state university with an enrollment of 10,000 students. We are located on a 1600 acre nature preserve in Pensacola, Florida, world famous for its white sand beaches and emerald colored water. The Department of HLES offers undergraduate degrees in Health Education, Physical Education, Exercise Science, Athletic Training, Sport Management, and Hospitality and graduate degrees in Health Education, Physical Education, and Exercise Science. The HLES department recently moved into a new $19 million Health, Leisure, and Sports facility which provides state-of-the-art laboratories for exercise science, motor development, and athletic training along with a 10,000 square foot fitness room, indoor track, three basketball courts, Sincerely, Dr. John Todorovich
