Remote Desktop from Off-Campus: Mac and iTAP

Configuring iTAP-Mobile Remote Desktop on a Mac to use the Remote Desktop Gateway

Remote Desktop Main

1. Download and install iTap Mobile RDP. (The program typically downloads to your Applications folder.)
   
   
2. Start iTap Mobile RDP and select Preferences to configure a Gateway Connection.
   
   
3. Enter the following:
   • Label: UWF Gateway
   • Hostname: rdp.uwf.edu
   • Port: 443
   • Username: Your Argonet Username
   • Password: Your Argonet Password
   • Domain: Argonet
     
     
4. Click the Red button to save and exit preferences.
   
   
5. Select New to create a new computer connection.
   
6. Input the following information:
   • Label: Enter a meaningful name to identify the connection
   • Hostname: Enter your UWF work computer name
   • Port: 3389
     
   • Username: Your Argonet Username
     
   • Password: Your Argonet Password
   • Domain: Arognet
   • Auto Reconnect: 10 minutes
   • Security Level: NLA
   • Gateway: Select UWF Gateway
     
7. You are ready to start your connection.
