Wireless: Connecting to ArgoAir

Three Steps to ArgoAir

1. Connecting to ArgoAir requires a wireless card. Most new laptops come with wireless cards pre-installed; however if you need a card, refer to the ArgoAir wireless card requirements and list of tested cards. When installing the card, only install the drivers; do not install any additional software provided on the CD.
   Please note, Palm devices are not compatible with ArgoAir.
   
   
2. Make sure you are in an ArgoAir coverage area. See the coverage area on the ArgoAir map. Keep in mind that the coverage area is affected by such factors as the weather and the strength of your wireless card.
   
   
3. Follow the Set Up Instructions for your operating system. Once complete, you should be able to connect to ArgoAir. If you experience problems, please contact the ITS Help Desk.
   University Guests: A username and password are required to use ArgoAir. Your UWF host can obtain a guest ArgoAir account from the ITS Help Desk or a Local Service Provider.
