Unlike email and calendar, ITS is unable to recreate your Contacts in Google Apps. However, with the instructions below you can export your Outlook or Entourage contacts to a file and then import the contacts into Google Apps. You can import now, or wait until after G-Day. Distribution lists are not imported (but they can be recreated in Google Apps).
Keep in mind that Exchange contacts contain different pieces of information (or fields) than Google contacts. Only the Exchange contact fields that have a corresponding field in Google can be imported. Most people only use basic contact information and will not need to worry about losing information. However, if you use more than the basic contact information, you will want to check your contacts in Google Apps to make sure you haven't lost any information.
OUTLOOK instructions (works with Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007)
Unfortunately there is not an easy way to do this in ARGOMAIL. If you use ArgoMail and only have a few contacts, you can simply print your contact information from ArgoMail and re-enter it in Google Apps. If you have a significant number of contacts, contact the ITS Help Desk or your Local Support Provider for assistance.
