Archiving Entourage Items
Follow the steps below to archive your Entourage tasks, notes, and journal. Please be aware that the Entourage archive file can only be viewed in Entourage; therefore it will be necessary to keep the Entourage application installed on your computer.
- From the File menu, click Export….
- Select Items to an Entourage archive, then select All items, then put a checkmark next to the items you’d like to archive. Select the right arrow to continue.
- Select No, keep the items in Entourage after they are archived, then click the right arrow to continue.
- Select a location to save the archive and give it an appropriate name, then click Save. Make sure you can remember where you saved it!
- Click Done.
The archive file is now saved. Follow the steps below to open the file so that it can be viewed in Entourage.
- From the File menu, select Import.
- Select Entourage information from an archive or an earlier version, then click the right arrow to continue.
- Select Entourage archive (.rge), then click the right arrow to continue.
- Browse to the rge file you created in the steps above, then click Import.
- When the Import is complete, click Done.
- The archived items will appear in the left side-bar of Entourage.
