If you use Outlook to access UWF Gmail, you will receive Google Calendar invitations in the Outlook format, similar to the invitation shown below. It is important that you do not click the "Accept/Decline" buttons at the top of the message. Instead, use the "Yes," "Maybe," or "No" buttons in the body of the email. This will put the event on your Google Calendar.
If you mistakenly use the Accept/Decline buttons, you can retrieve the invitation from your "Deleted Items" folder and then use the "Yes," "Maybe," or "No" buttons in the body of the email to add the event to your Google calendar.
Be aware that the information at the top of the invitation may be incorrect. This is a result of Outlook incorrectly interpreting Google's calendar information. Disregard the information at the top of the invitation and rely only on the information contained in the body of the email.
XML Error Message: If you respond to a meeting invitation from Outlook (using the Yes/Maybe/No links as instructed), you may receive an XML error. Even though you receive an error, the event will still be added to your calendar. You can prevent this error by changing a setting in Internet Explorer. How do I do this?
