Routine allergy injections prescribed by your doctor can be given under a doctor's supervision at the Clinic. However, you must provide us with the serum, administration instructions, and/or order form from the physician/allergist who is treating you. You must be seen by one of our providers prior to your first injection. You will also be asked to sign a consent form allowing us to administer the injections. If you are a returning student who has already been receiving allergy injections, it may be necessary to schedule an appointment to review any changes in your health history. The cost for each injection is $3.00, payable when services are rendered. It will be necessary for you to wait for 30 minutes after your injection to monitor you for any reaction. Allergy injections will only be given if a licensed Medical Doctor is present.
Student Health Services will only administer allergy serum prescribed by a physician licensed to practice in the United States.
