A: Have someone take them to the nearest Urgent Care Center or Emergency Room. Each student should have their insurance card in case they have to receive medical care somewhere other than in the UWF Health Center.

A: It depends on the specific situation. If the patient needs to be referred elsewhere, the Health Center staff will be happy to help with the arrangements for this.
Q: Can students get an X-ray or EKG in the UWF Health Center?
A: No. We refer the student to Baptist Medical Park Walk-in Clinic located on University Parkway. The report is then sent back to the UWF Health Center for follow-up.

A: No. The student can pay with VISA, Mastercard, American Express or Nautilus card. If they can't pay at the time of the visit, an invoice will be submitted to Financial Services on the student's account.
