Chinese Studies

Call For Papers

The ninth annual conference on Chinese Studies will be held at University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, on September 24, 2004. The conference aims at providing anyone working in Chinese studies an opportunity to present their works and to keep up with recent developments in China/Taiwan. The conference will focus on humanities (literature, philosophy, religion, history), and a panel discussion session on "Market Opportunity and Marketing in China" and a session on “Health and Traditional Chinese Medicine.”

Competitive papers/detailed abstracts are invited in, but are not limited to, the topic areas listed. Qualified individuals will review papers submitted. Accepted papers/abstracts will be published in the Chinese Studies Forum - a conference proceedings, after the conference. The inclusion in the Chinese Studies Forum will not impede contributors’ submission to other publications. Copyright reserved by the contributor(s) and simultaneous publication in other journals is permitted. Abstracts should provide sufficient details to indicate thesis and the major points of the paper. Paper submission acknowledges that the author(s) will register for the conference, and present the accepted paper at the time specified in the conference program.
