The University of West Florida currently has one multicultural Greek organization on campus. Delta Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. is an Asian-Interest Sorority. There are also two interest groups on campus, Lambda Tau Omega Multicultural Sorority and Lambda Theta Phi Latino Fraternity.
Delta Phi Lambda is an associate member of our Panhellenic Council. Delta Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. is an Asian-Interest Sorority. Delta Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. advocates Asian awareness and empowers women leaders through its values-based programs and everlasting sisterhood. Although an Asian-Interest Sorority they are not Asian exclusive. Delta Phi Lambda does have their own recruitment process called Membership Intake and is much like our NPHC organizations. Lambda Theta Phi is a new interest group on campus. Lambda Theta Phi was founded by fourteen men on December 1, 1975 at Kean College in Union, New Jersey as the first Latino fraternity in the United States.
