GIS Training Academy

The GIS Training Academy is a collection of fully online, six-week training courses and personalized face-to-face training courses and workshops. The courses are directed towards individuals new to Geographic Information Systems and ESRI's ArcGIS Desktop, GIS users interested in learning the latest updates in ArcGIS 10.1, and GIS professionals interested in earning Continuing Education Credits or Course Credits for the GIS Professional License. Check back often as the course list will be updated by semester.

Online GIS Course

Introduction to ArcGIS and What's New in ArcGIS 10.1 training course.

Face-to-Face GIS Training (Pensacola campus): includes a selection of two or three day GIS training courses are offered at UWF for local professionals. These courses are typically offered two to three times a year, depending on demand. View current course offerings, or email us at gisonline@uwf.edu for more information.

Face-to-Face Workshops: - UWF offers in-house GIS training for a group of 5 of more. Courses can be tailored to meet the specific needs of the group. Please contact Nathan McKinney for more information at nmckinney@uwf.edu.
