Scholarship to a Baptist Hospital employee (preference) whose employment is verified or to a dependent of an employee. Renewable. Maximum award equal to tuition/matriculation fees over/above 6 undergrad or 3 grad hours. Students must reapply each term. No restrictions on major, credit hours, or classification.
Baskerville/Donovan Scholarship
Pre-professional scholarship award to student meeting UWF guidelines.
Paul Campbell Scholarship
Scholarship for accounting major meeting UWF’s requirements. Renewable. Maximum award equal to tuition and matriculation fees for an academic year (excluding summer).
Alma G. Carney Scouting Scholarship
Scholarship to students who have achieved the distinction of “Life Scout” or “Eagle Scout” within the Boy Scout’s Gulf Coast Council. May award multiple scholarships each semester.
Chadbourne Foundation Major Gift Scholarship Endowment
Scholarships for full time or part time upper level undergraduates from Escambia or Santa Rosa counties (Florida) who have been recipients of the Chadbourne Scholarship at Pensacola Junior College. Financial need is considered but not the determining factor. PJC Chadbourne Scholarship recipients must meet UWF admission requirements and be admitted to UWF at least six months prior to the semester they are to begin, have maintained a 2.5 GPA at PJC and must maintain a 2.5 GPA at UWF to be considered for renewal. Maximum award per academic term equal to tuition and matriculation fees.
Lisa Jo Dickson Memorial Scholarship Endowment
Scholarship awards will be made to an upper division initiated female of a UWF Panhellenic sorority who has proven leadership roles in and commitment to the mission of Panhellenic Greek life and her sorority. The recipient must have a 2.8 GPA and record of volunteerism/community service. Students may receive the award only twice. Funds may also be used for award plaques for scholarship recipients.
W.J. (“Jerry”) Douglas Annual Scholarship
Awarded to student meeting UWF enrollment requirements and may be up to the amount of tuition and matriculation fees, excluding summer term. First preference given to student(s) returning to or beginning school during and/or after service in the military. Second preference given to a dependent of a person who was a student during and/or after military service.
Alfred I. DuPont Foundation, Inc. Scholarship Endowment
Scholarship to students meeting enrollment requirements and having a 2.5 GPA in any academic discipline. Cherry Fitch Scholarship Endowment
Scholarship to students meeting enrollment requirements and who are graduating seniors from Gulf Breeze High School. Students must possess a minimum GPA of 2.5, SAT/ACT scores, documented involvement in school and/or community activities, and a 250 word essay on why they would like to be considered for the scholarship.

Gulf Breeze Hospital Employee Scholarship
Awards for part time students with minimum GPA 2.0 (high school or college work). Awarded to Escambia/Santa Rosa County resident with preference to GB Hospital employees and family. Must complete 3 months of satisfactory employment to apply. Maximum $200 per term for use on books or lab fees. Must reapply each semester. Prior approval must be given for GBH employees to use for tuition.
Gulf Power Foundation Scholarship
Scholarship for a deserving Northwest Florida student. Maximum award equal to tuition and matriculation fees (excluding summer).
Elsie Jones Hare Scholarship
Scholarship for a Northview High School, Bratt, FL graduate accepted at UWF with the highest GPA among NV High graduates applying for scholarship. Renewable. Preference to entering freshman. Maximum awarded equal to tuition and matriculation fees for an academic year (excluding summer).

Scholarship awarded in accordance with UWF guidelines.

Award to an employee or dependent of company employee. Must be a full time undergraduate student with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. In the case of multiple candidates, consideration given to highest GPA and/or demonstrated financial need. Award equal to tuition and books or maximum of $750 per semester (excluding summer term). Scholarship to students meeting enrollment requirements. Preference should be given to a full-time international chemistry student entering their junior or senior year with financial need. If there is not an international candidate, preference will then be given to a chemistry student with financial need, followed by a research fellowship.
Founding Chemistry Faculty Scholarship

College of Business Alumni Scholarship
Scholarships for children of College of Business alumni and those alumni returning to school in a degree-seeking program in the College of Business. College of Business Scholastic Excellence Awards
Awards made annually for Spring semester to junior and/or senior Business undergraduates. Based on cumulative GPA of all courses taken at UWF (minimum 30 completed). Non-renewable. No major may receive more than 30% of the awards per year.
BG & Mrs. Michael L. Ferguson Scholarship for Sons/Daughters Military Vets
Scholarship of $1,000 to the son or daughter of a deceased, active duty or retired (in that priority) veteran who demonstrates leadership capability and commitment to service. (Children of Army veterans should receive priority.) Financial need may be considered. Minimum GPA of 2.5. Candidates should submit two character recommendations. Renewable.

Susan L. Morris Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship for Communication Arts major, preferably in the concentration of radio, television and film. Must demonstrate service to the department and a commitment to/enthusiasm for the discipline. Awarded in Spring for following academic year. Amount equal to tuition/matriculation fees.
Pensacola Press Club Scholarship Endowment
Provide scholarship to entering freshmen, sophomores and juniors in Communication Arts journalism program. National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Scholarship

Stan and Mary Stephenson Engineering Scholarship
Scholarship to students in electrical engineering who have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and a full-time student. Preference given to electrical engineering students: with dependents, who indicate a desire to teach engineering, and/or first generation college students in engineering.

Baker/Johnson Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to lower or upper division student(s) in any academic discipline meeting UWF enrollment requirements and demonstrating financial need. Maximum award equal to tuition and matriculation fees and may be renewed.
Bank of America Scholarship Endowment
First-time-in college student with cumulative high school GPA 3.3 (academic courses required for admission). Student must complete Federal Student Aid application, demonstrate financial need and a history of community service. Student must maintain continuous enrollment with eligibility not to exceed eight semesters. Renewable requirements include: minimum of 50 volunteer hours per academic year (pre-approved by University), maintain annual minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA, and comply with all University policies and regulations. (Funds not allocated in Summer.) Scholarship is up to $2,000 and renewable for three years. Recipients must agree to authorize release of his/her name and other information to Bank of America.

First Generation Scholarships
Scholarships for college students who a) meet Florida’s residency requirements for receipt of state student financial aid; b) have not previously received a baccalaureate degree; c) are first generation college students. A student is considered first generation if neither of the student’s parents earned a college degree at the baccalaureate level or higher; d) have completed a FAFSA (Free Application of Federal Student Aid); and e) are eligible for need based financial aid.

The Kerrigan Daughters’ Young Women’s Scholarship
Scholarship for a female student under age 30 (for 1st award) with dependent children. (Preference for those with primary care of children under age 10.) Must be full time maintaining 12 hours/semester. First-time students shall be eligible regardless of GPA. Required to take a Business Ethics course and must meet all other UWF requirements.
