Meal Plans run on a weekly basis starting on Sunday morning and ending Saturday evening. Meal Plans are use or lose on a weekly basis and do not roll over. Block Plans run on a semester basis. Meal Plans and Block Plans may be used in the Nautilus Market only.
Change in the student's schedule the first day of classes? Don't sweat it....they have the option of changing their Standing Reservation Meal Plan during the first two weeks of school. Ask your student to visit the UWF Dining Services Office in the Commons for a change request form.
Meal Periods: The Nautilus Market is set up to serve meals based on meal periods. There are three meal periods per day Monday through Friday and two meal periods per day Saturday and Sunday. The Nautilus Market closes for a 30 minute period between each meal period for resetting of the food stations in preparation for the next meal period.
You may use one meal off of your meal or block plan during each meal period. If you want to come back to the Nautilus Market more than once in a given meal period, you may use your Argo Bucks, funds in your Nautilus Card declining balance account, cash, or credit card to pay for the second visit.
Guests & Meal Passes: Meal plans may only be used by the meal plan holder. Everyone may enter the facility by paying the door price. The exception is that meal plan participants with a 10, 15 or 19 meal plan will receive 2 free meal passes each semester that can be used to pay for guest meals.
Argo Bucks
Argo Bucks are accepted like cash in all dining locations. Argo Bucks are flexible dollars that come with each Meal Plan. We recommend that students use Argo Bucks to grab a snack between meals. Argo Bucks expire at the end of each semester along with the Meal Plan. If your student's Argo Bucks run low, you may add additional dollars to their Nautilus Card "Food Account".
