Welcome to First Jobs Institute Florida. A statewide grant conducted by the University of West Florida Haas Center for Business Research and Economic Development to research and market best practices for assisting youth, age 14-21, in obtaining their first job. A virtual institute, it's center of operations is located at the UWF HAAS Center, Fort Walton Beach office, with the Okaloosa-Walton Community College/ University of West Florida Joint Campus serving as the "laboratory" to demonstrate best practices. | |||||||||
