Crafts Fair
Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Library Green
Browse through a diverse assortment of crafts produced, exhibited and
sold by regional crafters. You will find ceramics, wood, fiber, jewelry,
toys, clothing and more.
Entertainment Stage
Friday 1 - 4 p.m.
Fine Arts Show
Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Fine artists from our region will display & sell their artwork along
the magnolias - lined sidewalk. The juried show features painting, jewelry,
pottery, glass & other media. You can find it on the green, along
"magnolia row."

Enjoy selected works of student art at the juried exhibit at the UWF gallery. While you're on the green, see more student artwork on display at the Fine Arts Show along Magnolia Row, featuring drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture and mixed media. |
Food Vendors
Friday 12 - 5:30 p.m., parking lot H, near
building 21
Having all this fun will undoubtedly work up an appetite. You'll have
plenty of delicious food choices at the festival. Festival vendors serve
up Cajun, Caribbean, Oriental and American cuisine as well as snack favorites
such as funnel cakes, fries, nachos, cotton candy and ice cream.
Honors Convocation
Friday 11 a.m., on the green, near the library
This annual ceremony recognizes students, faculty and administrators for
academic excellence, leadership, teaching, research and service. Inclement
weather location: commons Auditorium.
Library Book Sale (John
C. Pace Library)
Friday inside the library, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. preview sale for UWF
students, faculty & staff only (UWF ID or Nautilus card required for admission); 11 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. public sale;
Saturday 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. public sale outside the library entrance.
Choose from among the many thousands of books, textbooks, videos, and magazines for sale. The biggest areas are fiction and literature, history, biography, social sciences, and business, plus exceptional sets and specials. Come, browse, enjoy, and buy!
Native American Village
Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The
village will include traditional housing; demonstrations on stick weaving,
hide tanning, basket weaving and stitching; children’s activities
and other presentations on Creek culture. Representatives of seven Native American tribes will perform and provide information about their culture. A special feature is a traveling exhibit from the Heritage Park and Cultural center. Participants: Autumn Winds Creek, Blackwater Creek, Perdido Bay Creek, Santa Rosa Creek and Wolf Creek Cherokee Tribes, Buffalo Woman, E-Chota of Florida Paint clan, and Muskogee Bird Dancers.
Profiles in Leadership - Yellowstone: The Delicate Balance
The University of West Florida will present a special "Profiles in Leadership Series" event during Festival on the Green. Suzanne Lewis, superintendent for Yellowstone Park and UWF alumna, will share her experiences at a public lecture "Yellowstone: The Delicate Balance," April 4 from 2 to 3:15 p.m. in the University Commons Conference Center Room A, Building 22. A reception for Lewis will precede the public lecture starting at 1:30 p.m.

Diversity Showcase

The Diversity Stage will showcase dancers, musicians and other performers.
Dog Sports Exhibition
Saturday 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m.
Watch nimble pooches strut their stuff as they jump through hoops and
run obstacle courses in an agility exhibition sponsored by Five
Flags Dog Training Club, followed by a flyball demonstration. Don't miss the Country
Canine Square Dance team. It gives swing your partner a whole new
meaning. On the green near buildings 27 and 29.
