Festival on the Green welcomes the Northwest Florida and South Alabama communities to the beautiful University of West Florida campus. This two-day festival includes food booths, entertainment, and outdoor events for all ages. All Northwest Florida and Southern Alabama crafters are encouraged to participate in the festival's Crafts Fair.
Application & Fees
To apply for the Crafts Fair, send an Application, Hold Harmless Agreement, and check or money order for $35.00 (Includes Florida sales tax of $2.44). Booth fee will be refunded if crafter is not accepted.
Only items crafted by the exhibitors are eligible for entry and sale. Items not allowed for the Crafts Fair include mass-produced crafts and food.
Submit one photograph of your craft for consideration. Please include your name on the back of the photograph. FOG is not responsible for damaged photographs. Photos will be returned during the festival, or will be mailed if a return envelope of sufficient size and postage is provided with an application.
The Selection Process
Festival on the Green Crafts Fair has space
for 33 to 35 crafters. To ensure impartiality, all entries are assigned numbers; crafters' names are not used during
the selection process. Selections are based on craftsmanship and appeal, as well as providing an overall variety of craft booths to be in the Fair. The Committee reserves the right to determine which crafts are appropriate for this event and to make final judgment of all rules.
Booth Judging & Awards
Awards will be given for the best booth displays, though this is not a juried event. A panel of judges will review each booth on the following criteria: creativity,
appeal, organization and overall appearance of display.
Cash prizes totaling $250 will be awarded in these categories:
| |
First place booth $125
Second place booth $75
Third place booth $50 |
Festival Specifics

each assigned space. A two-person team producing a product may qualify
as a single exhibitor, but this arrangement must be explained on the Application; both also must sign the Hold Harmless Agreement.
- The campus is patrolled
day and night by the UWF Police Department. While
care will be taken to avoid hazards to crafts, FOG is not responsible
for any loss or damage to displays or crafts. Although FOG will provide
overnight security on Friday night, it is recommended that each crafter have
insurance.
- Each exhibitor space is 10' x 10' maximum. Crafters
must provide their own tables, chairs and structure for their displays.
No electricity will be provided at exhibitor spaces. Generators are
not allowed; batteries are permitted.
- In case of inclement weather, the Crafts Fair will continue at Building 10 Patio; please prepare booths for the elements, including horizontal rain.
- Each exhibitor is responsible for collecting Florida
sales tax (7.5%) on all sales.
