Making Way for Excellence Presents New Reward and Recognition Program
The Making Way for Excellence Coordinating Committee and the Employee Satisfaction team will present a new university reward and recognition program “Excellence Matters” at both the UWF Main and UWF Emerald Coast campuses. The presentation for the main campus will be held Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 9 a.m. in the University Commons Conference Center, Building 22. The Emerald Coast presentation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. on the Fort Walton Beach Campus, Building 1. The Pensacola event will be Web cast by WUWF-TV at http://wuwf.org. Featured speakers include President Cavanaugh, Honor Bell, Vice President of Student Affairs Deborah Ford, Joyce Gossom and members of the Excellence Matters process action team. Door prizes will be given out at the conclusion of the presentation and a continental breakfast will be served. Door prizes include a ZOO family pack, a night at the Pensacola Beach Comfort Inn, restaurant gift certificates (EAT, Jackson’s, Manatees, RagTyme Grill) and more. UWF Moments of Truth and Standards Rollout
More than 300 employees attended the Making Way for
Excellence Moments of Truth and UWF Standards Roll-Out held
Oct. 19 and 20, 2005. Review the introduced standards by navigating
to the Mission, Vision and Values page.
UWF Organizational Assessment Roll-out
On Feb. 22, 2005, UWF leadership was introduced to
the findings of the Baptist Leadership Institute's organizational
assessment of the university.

Cascade Learning Kit
The Cascade Learning Kit is a package of information and materials that pulls together the main points from various leadership development sessions into a 10-15 minute presentation format for leaders to take back to their respective departments. It is a combination of didactic teaching materials and interactive tools that involve the participants in the learning.

Journey to Service Excellence Kick-Off

the Baptist Leadership Institute's approach to service excellence
and guided by the institute's team in identifying UWF's strengths
and opportunities.
