Prose

• Short fiction and creative non-fiction only--no critical essays
• Each submission cannot exceed 10 double-spaced pages
• The only file formats that are accepted are rtf and doc (MS Word)

Poetry

• All poetic forms are acceptable
• The only file formats that are accepted are rtf and doc (MS Word)

Artwork

• 2-D artwork or photography only
• Must be in black and white or maintain clarity and aesthetic appeal as a black and white reproduction
• All artwork must be submitted in electronic format. The only file format that is accepted is jpg. Please keep the file size manageable so that we can receive it as an email attachment.
• Photos of larger art projects, such as statues or paintings, are accepted as long as the photo follows the above restrictions.

Please send your work as an attachment and include your name, major, and UWF student email address in the body of the email. Because of our desire to capture the spectrum of student work being done at UWF, you may only submit five pieces for consideration in each category: prose, poetry, and artwork. The Troubadour does not have a theme for each semester. Instead, we rely on the work selected for publication to set the tone for it; as a result, you may submit work on any topic.
