Dr. Robin Blyn Wins 2011
Faculty Excellence in
Teaching Award
Dr. Robin Blyn, Associate Professor of English is a recipient of the 2011 Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award.
She also recently signed a contract to publish her book length study of the American avant-garde and the arts of the freak show with the University of Minnesota Press. In her book, Dr. Blyn tells a new story about the life of the avant-garde in the U.S. In the arts of the freak show, she argues, American artists have repeatedly discovered a means of unleashing desires productive of new and revolutionary ways of being.
