Middle School Education Certification Program

The B.A. degree program in Middle Level Education is designed to prepare students who plan to teach in grades 5-9. The Division offers two distinct routes to the degree. With the first route, students participate in two of six NCATE/DOE approved areas through which they earn Florida teacher certification. The other specialization is Educational Studies and it is an NCATE approved program.

• Grades 5-9 English & General Science
• Grades 5-9 English & Social Science
• Grades 5-9 Mathematics & General Science
• Grades 5-9 Mathematics & Social Science
• Grades 5-9 Social Science & General Science
