The UWF School of Education is accredited at the National, Regional and State levels. At the National level, the School of Education is accredited by the National Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and recognized for producing caring, competent, and highly qualified teachers. The University is accredited at the regional level by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). At the state level, a wide array of teacher preparation programs have received approval by the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE).
