
The UWF School of Education is accredited at the National, Regional and State levels. At the National level, the School of Education is accredited by the National Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and recognized for producing caring, competent, and highly qualified teachers. At the state level, all initial certification teacher preparation programs have received approval by the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE).
The University of West Florida is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate's, baccalaureate, master's, specialist, and Doctor of Education degrees.
