Step 3: Transcripts
- Arrange to have one official copy of all college transcripts sent directly to The University of West Florida, Graduate Admissions, 11000 University Parkway, Building 11, Pensacola, FL 32514
(Note: Transcripts for work completed at UWF will be obtained by the Office of Admissions. In addition, if you previously submitted official copies of transcripts from other colleges/universities and there were no changes since they were received by the University, then you do not need to resubmit these transcripts.)

- Upon admission, you will receive official notification from the School of Education, which will include contact information for your Advisor.
- Contact your 3T Advisor to develop a course plan.
- Register for courses via LightHouse (Note: Some of your courses will require permission codes. Therefore you will need to contact Graduate Advising before registering for these courses. SoE will register students for all practica and student teaching.)
- Activate your MyUWF Account.
Step 6: Tk20 and Dispositions Assessments
- By the third week of the first semester of 3T studies, the following must be completed:
- Purchase a subscription to the School of Education's assessment system,Tk20. A subscription can be purchased through the UWF bookstore (Student Access Kits - ISBN 0-9774408-1-8) or directly from Tk20.
- Complete the "Program Applicant Self-rating Scale" in Tk20.
- Have the two professional references identified above complete the "Program Applicant Disposition Scale." (The SoE Graduate Advising Office will contact each reference with instructions.)
Step 7: Orientation
- Participate in the 3T Orientation and submit affirmation in Tk20.
Step 8: Fieldwork Preparation
- 3T graduate candidates apply for practica and student teaching on the 3T Application. Select your preferred region on the form. 3T students will be registered for all practica and student teaching by the SoE Field Placement Coordinator.
- Complete the Santa Rosa Disclosure Form. Students will not be placed in Santa Rosa County schools without this form. Please drop off or mail a hard copy of the disclosure form to UWF, COPS, School of Education, Graduate Advising, 3T Field Placements, 11000 University Parkway, Bldg. 85, Pensacola, FL, 32514. You may also fax (850-474-2844/Attention: Graduate Advising) or email (soegrad@uwf.edu) a scanned copy of the SRD form. A new form must be filled out each fieldwork semester.
- Secure your own liability and medical insurance AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. UWF will not cover any illness or injury sustained during field experience. You should also complete the "background check and fingerprinting process" in Santa Rosa County. Candidates WILL NOT be allowed to start fieldwork until these mandatory steps are completed. (Note: 3T fieldwork coincides with the SRC academic year and not the UWF academic year. Visit the Santa Rosa County School District website for start and end dates.)
