In a cohort program, students are admitted at the same time and take the same classes as they progress through their program of study. Students develop strong relationships with their peers as they complete their degree. This program of study, emphasizing Instructional Technology and Educational Administration, is designed, scheduled, and sequenced to facilitate dissertation planning and completion within a three-year period.
As part of the program of study, students and faculty will participate in seminar sessions that promote integration of the C&I knowledge base into an active research agenda. Faculty mentors will work closely with the cohort group members through those seminars and scheduled cohort meetings. Peer collaboration facilitates camaraderie and individual personal development.
