The Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction meets the needs of professionals from many different educational backgrounds, including public school personnel, community college, college, and university personnel, social and health-related personnel, community civic leaders, and military personnel. Professionals develop skills needed to advance within their chosen discipline and profession as they assume administrative and leadership positions where they conduct and evaluate applied research that emphasizes local, regional, and state issues and programs.
These leaders must be prepared to support and facilitate education and training initiatives through a variety of organizational structures. Cohort participants will integrate concepts related to administration, education, research, and technology to improve organizational performance and learning. The program, delivered in a cohort model, prepares individuals to meet challenges in their own organizations.
