Dr. Charles H. Wentz is Associate Professor Emeritus in the Department of Engineering and Computer Technology at the University of West Florida. He has been teaching at UWF since 1969.

Dr. Wentz has undergraduate and graduate degrees from East Carolina University, and his terminal degree is from Texas A&M.

When the Building Construction Program was initiated in 1987, Dr. Wentz was asked to fill the role of coordinator for the program. Although he is now retired, he teaches at least one class each semester.
