Glenda Mayo has been a full-time faculty member at the University of West Florida for years. From 2004 to 2008 she served as the Associate Director of Construction Planning for the Department of Architectural and Engineering Services. Then in 2006 she joined the College of Professionals Studies as the advisor for the Building Construction Program at UWF. She has taught coursework in building codes, construction administration, and estimating, and she spearheaded the initiative to create the BEST House, a demonstration house to be built on the UWF campus that will serve as a centerpiece of research, application, and trends in the construction profession and industry.
Ms. Mayo has an M.S. in Administration and a B.S. in Industrial Technology. She currently serves on the Construction Specifications Institute Board and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.
