To recognize cumulative lifetime giving to the university, the Board of Directors of the University of West Florida Foundation, Inc. sponsors three prestigious societies: The Chambered Nautilus Society, The Charter Society of 1963, The John C. Pace Society; and two recognition clubs: The Heritage Club and The President’s Club.
Membership is available to any individual or organization that has contributed the amount designated for a society or club. As our most honored benefactors, members of these societies and clubs will gather periodically in celebration and fellowship. In addition, all Chambered Nautilus Society members are recognized with a permanent display on the marble wall at the John C. Pace Library.
The Chambered Nautilus Society - This most prestigious lifetime giving society recognizes donors who have made gifts totaling $100,000 or more. Donors are honored by having their names permanently etched in marble on the wall of the John C. Pace Library.
The Charter Society of 1963 - Donors whose cumulative gifts range from $50,000 to $99,999 are honored as members of the Charter Society of 1963. This penultimate recognition society was named for the year the University of West Florida was founded.
The John C. Pace Society - The UWF Library and this giving society are named for this founder of UWF. Donors whose lifetime gifts range from $25,000 to $49,999 earn recognition in this society named in honor of John C. Pace.
The President's Club - Membership in the President's Club is earned through lifetime gifts of $10,000 to $24,999 or through a promise to complete a commitment at that level through annual gifts of $1,000 or more, or through an appropriate commitment through a planned gift.
