Dr. Eppright
is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the
University of West Florida where he as has taught
advertising, consumer behavior, and Internet
marketing courses since 1988. He began developing
and teaching Internet marketing courses in January
1996. Before taking a position at UWF, Dr. Eppright
was a Visiting Professor of Marketing at Pennsylvania
State University-University Park. Beginning
in Fall 2000, he was a visiting Scholar-in-Residence
in the MBA Marketing Information Technology
program at American University in Washington,
D. C.
Dr. Eppright received his doctorate in Advertising
and Marketing from the University of Texas at
Austin in 1985. Dr. Eppright's research focuses
on the effects of ecommerce on the erosion of
sales tax revenues, communications methodologies
for changing risk-taking behaviors, and the
prediction of consumer expenditures via consumer
confidence indices. His research has been published
in the Journal of Business Research, Journal
of Economic Psychology, and the prestigious
Journal of Marketing. In addition to his academic
activities, Dr. Eppright runs a successful emarketing
consulting agency.
