Oracle is a second-year living-learning community where students experience campus life and the academic classroom together. Oracle helps students discover their goals post graduation. Oracle focuses on helping students lay the ground work for their next two years at UWF. It helps students see the connections between academics, career choice, and leadership opportunities. At the end of your second-year, you will have a plan for all three areas.
Oracle is not just work for the student. There are many aspects to the program which are fun and enjoyable by the students. The students in Oracle learn about themselves and others they live with. They help to stop illiteracy by collecting books for young children. Four times a year they board a bus to a destination unknown as part of the Mystery Bus Tour. The students also connect with faculty from various disciplines to form important relationships.
