Welcome from the Dean of Students Office

The Dean of Students Office (DSO), part of the Division of Student Affairs, serves as an important resource for students, families, administration, and our faculty colleagues.

The DSO supports both the academic mission of the University of West Florida and the Division of Student Affairs by providing programs, services, resources, and advocacy for the needs and interests of all UWF students.

The professional and support staff of the DSO provide educational opportunities for students to develop appropriate community behaviors and personal values while providing support to students and families with personal or University concerns. The staff will also assist students and families in navigating the administrative process of the University.
