- We propose the following wording for the code:
As Argonauts we act with integrity. We do not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do.
The proposed Honor Code is modeled after Honor Codes adopted by West Point, Texas A & M University, and numerous other colleges and universities.

- Although the code would be inspirational, we think real change on this front may well require accentuating our institutional seriousness about this issue by instructors (at their discretion) asking students to write the following statement, already used by Dr. Al Cuzan in his classes, on everything they submit for a grade:
On my honor, I affirm that I have neither given nor received unauthorized assistance on this work.
The proposed Pledge for individual assignments is modeled after pledges adopted by Kansas State University, the University of Maryland, and numerous other colleges and universities.
