The Perseus software is a system for formatting, delivering, collecting, and reporting survey research data through the internet. Faculty and administrators who would like to use this service should prepare their survey questions in a Word document. CUTLA staff will format the questions in the Perseus system. Survey researchers will be asked to copy, edit, and approve the final format of the survey. Following approval of the final format, faculty or CUTLA staff will run a pilot study to test data collection and ensure the validity of the data file created. Once the data collection process has been validated, survey researchers will receive an internet address for the survey to send to their participants. At the close of data collection, the data file (an Excel spreadsheet) will be sent to the researchers for analysis. Survey researchers are responsible for their own data analysis.
