Most Photogenic Machine Awarded to the team whose machine is the most eye pleasing, fit and trim of external components and aesthetic embellishments. Gulf Breeze High School
GULF POWER "Blood, Sweat, and Duct Tape" Awarded to the team that devoted the most amount of creativity and labor to build their machine. South Walton High School
Best t-shirt design Awarded to the team whose t-shirt creatively encompassed their logo, theme and school name.

Web Page Design Awarded to the team that displayed the best web site. This was based on the site pages functionality, creative use of the game theme, information about team members and community efforts. Gulf Breeze Middle School
CAD Awarded to the team that shows their highest mastery and most creative use of CAD software. Criteria used to assess the designs include best use of CAD software, quality of designs, and degree of difficulty and mastery. Woodham Middle School
Software Design and Simulation Awarded to the team that shows emphasis on software design process and software simulation/verification approaches. The award is judged based on content provided in the Project Engineering Notebook.

Best Spirit and Sportsmanship Awarded to the team that shows vigor and enthusiasm displayed by team representatives and the outward display of sportsmanship (e.g., helping other teams in need), grace in  winning and losing, and conduct and attitude considered befitting participation in sports.

Best Exhibits and Interview The purpose of this category is to communicate through a display, and through discussion with judges, information about the team's efforts to promote BEST in the community and schools; foster BEST spirit, camaraderie, and participation and give evidence of sportsmanship.

Best Marketing Presentation Awarded to the team that viewed themselves as employees of a "company" that is marketing their "product" (robot) to a potential buyer (judges). This marketing team is an integral part of the engineering team that designed a specialized robot.

3rd - Seacoast Collegiate High School

Best Project Engineering Notebook The purpose of the notebook is to document the process the team used to design, build, and test their robot.

Robotics Awarded to the team whose machines finish first, second, and third in the tournament bracket.

Best Award Awarded to the team that best embodies the attributes associated with "Boosting Engineering, Science, and Technology" in its development which include teamwork, diversity of participation, sportsmanship, creativity, ethics, positive attitude/enthusiasm, school/community involvement and exposure to and use of the engineering process.
