What is blockchain? What is this bitcoin thing you keep hearing about? Why should you care?  Join us to take a look into the technical workings of the blockchain behind the bitcoin network. We will dive into the history of bitcoin and blockchain.

There has been a lot of changes in web development over the last few years. Web applications have gone through multiple transitionary periods and this leaves many new developers trying to keep up. What exactly are these changes and what exactly am I supposed to be stacking?

Every year companies lose money due to security vulnerabilities in existing applications. But how do developers combat these problems? What are the principles behind securing an application? We will take a look at security and what it means for a developer.

There is more to a successful career in software than just programming. Modern software development is about teamwork and communication with people from non-technical backgrounds. Come discuss these soft skills with software consultants who have recently graduated and stepped into the business place.

1:00 pm Expo & Judging Begins

Demonstrate your project to the rest of the participants and the community! We will be setting up for a science fair style demonstration-a-thon. This is where you get to show all of your hard work!

3:30 pm Final Demonstrations

Once the Expo is over, we will be identifying the best projects for one final demonstration in front of everyone.

4:30 pm Closing Ceremony & Awards

We invite everyone to stay for the closing ceremony where we will be recognizing the top projects and be giving away excellent door prizes!
