Non-profit Professional:

Executive Director, Ballet Pensacola, Penscola Cultural Center, Pensacola, Florida, 1992-95
    Responsible for the daily operations of one of Northwest Florida's largest dance education and performance organizations,
    consisting of three artistic directors, several instructors, several principal dancers, and several hundred dance students.
    Duties included planning, budgeting, grant preparation, class scheduling, student advisement, contract preparation and negotiation,
    guest artist and guest instructor procurement, and a variety of other activities.  Increased budget 100% as Executive Director.
    Implemented the plans and activities of the Board of Directors in its relationships with artistic directors, other employees, students, parents,
    and external organizations.  Supervised clerical staff and dozens of volunteers.

President, Board of Directors, Ballet Pensacola, Pensacola Cultural Center, Pensacola, Florida, 1991-92
    Coordinated the plans and activities of the Board of Directors and represented the Board in its relationships with artistic directors,
    other employees, students, parents, and external organizations.
    Served as volunteer executive director in planning and managing operations and in establishing its role in the Pensacola community.

    Responsible for fundraising, membership, public relations, and special events for Pensacola's public TV station.
    Supervised several professional and clerical personnel, coordinated with directors of programming and art on underwriting,
    fundraising campaigns,  publicity and special events.
    Initiated the successful annual wine-tasting and gourmet dinner events, and played a major role in periodic direct mail and on-air campaigns.
    Was able to triple viewer memberships and enable WSRE-TV to achieve its five-year development goals (a 250% increase) in only three years.
    Initiated a board of community advisors and coordinated efforts of community volunteers.

Director, Board of Directors, Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, Pensacola, Florida, 1987-95
    Planned and implemented various service projects for the PSO and county school systems.  Contributed to budget increase of 250% during my
    eight years as a Director.

    Responsible for fundraising and alumni activities.  Initiated an alumni newsletter, an annual outstanding alumni awards banquet, and

    Provided student records services for the European division of Troy State University.  Set up and maintained the student records,
    grade reports, and transcripts for a database of several hundred undergraduate and a thousand graduate students located at 30 locations
    throughout Europe.  Duties included preparation of grade reports and on academic progress of students.
    Acted as liaison between the business and the client organization, wrote instruction guides on data preparation,
    file maintenance, and computer operations.  Trained client personnel and advised the client on systems matters.
