The following undergraduate scholarships are available to Department of Teacher Education and Educational Leadership undergraduate students.

Scholarship for female U.S. Citizen admitted to the teacher education program. Must be of good character, have a GPA of 3.2 or better and some financial need. Renewable.

Scholarship for female U.S. citizen entering the field of education. Must be of good character, have a GPA of 3.0 or better and some financial need. Renewable.

Charlie Clary Scholarship Fund

Scholarship for full time majors in Elementary Education with minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Maximum $500 per semester for tuition/matriculation fees (excluding summer term.)

College of Education Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship for degree seeking Florida residents holding a GPA of 3.0 or better and preparing to become teachers. Financial need is considered but not a requirement. Maximum award equal to tuition/matriculation fees. Awarded for academic year and renewable.

NDIA Teacher Scholarship

Scholarship for UWF need-based students that meet enrollment requirements. Preference will be given to middle and high school pre-service student teachers who are focused on science, technology, engineering and math disciplines. Must maintain GPA between 3.0 and 3.5. Maximum may not exceed tuition and matriculation fees. Renewable commensurate with University policies.

Scholarship for degree seeking Florida residents holding GPA of 3.0 or better who are preparing to become teachers. Financial need is considered. Awarded for an academic year with maximum award equal to tuition and matriculation fees (excluding summer). Renewable.

Elizabeth Benedict Riehm Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship for students majoring in special education with emphasis in teaching the cognitively disabled. Maximum award equal to tuition/matriculation fees for academic year (excluding summer). Renewable.

Florida Fund For Minority Teachers (FFMT) Scholarship

Scholarship for teaching degree seeking- Florida residents holding GPA of 2.5 or better who are preparing to become teachers. Be a member of one of the following racial groups: African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American/Pacific Islander, or American Indian/Alaskan Native to qualify. Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Endorsement Tuition Support Program

This program provides financial assistance to Florida's ESE teachers who are teaching students identified as having autism spectrum disorders (ASD), severe/profound disabilities, who are prekindergarten with disabilities. Beverly and Jennifer Acierno Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded by the Dept. of TEEL to a student studying in the Special Education program with preference given to those with a GPA of 3.5 or greater who plan to work with individuals who have Autism Spectrum Disorder. It was established in memory of Beverly and Jennifer Acierno.
